EVERYTHING IS READY FOR HAT SANREMO-SESTRIERE! MOTO MORINI TEAM RESTARTS WITH THE CHAMPION ORIOL MENA
Moto Morini continues its collaboration with HAT SERIES – the schedule of off-road meetings and adventouring experience promoted by Over2000riders Association. After the success of the 5th edition of HAT PAVIA-SANREMO in July, the Moto Morini X- Cape team will take part in the 15° edition of Europe’s biggest adventouring event, the HARDALPITOUR SANREMO-SESTRIERE, scheduled for September 9th -10th . The Spanish champion of enduro Oriol Mena will reinforce the Morini racing stable, riding the X-CAPE ADV-R: two important entries to HAT Sanremo-Sestriere.
Oriol Mena, born in 1987, is recently the winner of the Dakar 2023, category T4 SSV, and is a face of Moto Morini team now. In fact, the last February he took part in the Iberian competition of Bassella Race, with the X-CAPE ADV-R itself, a unique model of competitve adventure bike, descending from the 650cc and proposed as a “racing” version at EICMA 2022. This will be another occasion to test it.
The famous event, indeed, is a two-day no-stop riding adventure that involves motorbike and adventouring motorcycle enthusiasts through routes on mostly unpaved landscaped mountain streets, starting from the Ligurian sea and reaching the Piedmontese heights.
The Moto Morini X-CAPE team, besides Mena, naturally confirms Luca Marcotulli, professional trainer and brand ambassador, together with Andrea Zazzara, maxi-enduro expert rider, A.S.D. Mototurismo Abruzzo president.
Alberto Monni, Moto Morini’s General Manager, says:
“We are pleased to take part in this HAT SANREMO-SESTRIERE 15th edition too, which for years now sees the participation of hundreds of enthusiast motorcyclists and fully embodies the travel-adventure culture. This year edition can boast of two important additions to Morini stable, that of Oriol Mena, a Spaniard born in 1987, multi-award-winning enduro rider and Dakar expert, and of the ADV-R, our “racing” X-CAPE that has made shine the eyes of many enthusiasts at EICMA 2022. On the other hand, the last two years Moto Morini has become protagonist of many initiatives and a noticeable growth. In this regard, I would like to thank the whole staff and our ambassadors, such as Luca Marcotulli, Andrea Zazzara e Oriol Mena.”
