Moto Morini Milano
Its heart is pure, simple: the Moto Morini Milano was created to show itself to be carefree and fascinating, ready to make whoever desires an undemanding, attractive motorcycle, yet at the same time fun and precise, fall in love with it. The Moto Morini Milano was created to enjoy the simple pleasure of motorbike riding and to leave behind every thought. It is a motorcycle which captures every gaze, and which easily makes you fall in love with the ease with which you enjoy yourself riding it, whether it be in a sporty or carefree way.
Through its character made of style, versatility and dynamics, today it launches a new trend, just like the city whose name it bears and which has inspired it: Milano. The design lines evoke classic taste but they have been reinterpreted thanks to the latest Italian design stylistic features.
A choice which has enabled the creation of a timeless look, destined to last longer than any fashion trend.
The Milano has been built around the 1200 CorsaCorta. The twin-cylinder V 87° engine is capable of living that vibration and “bloody” riding pleasures of past motorcycles, unknown to many modern motorcycles, has been made even better to give a relaxing, pleasant ride, while being able to deliver a hefty 116CV. Design inspired by the past yet containing modern techniques. The chassis is appreciated for a steel trellis frame together with a sporty, yet comfortable suspension.
The Moto Morini Milano’s chassis is based on the previously noted steel frame trellis, yet modified to ensure a higher level of rideability, also for less experienced riders. Also on the trellis is the new fork which gives ample visibility on the rear aluminum forged wheel.
Images of the mythical 3 ½ flash by in the mind, but the Milano communicates to the rider through an ultra-modern TFT 5-inch display, which can be completely customisable, enabling the rider to decide what information to highlight.
The impetuous 1200 twin-cylinder needs equally powerful braking. A double disc 320 mm Brembo 4-piston radial mounted caliper system works together with a rear two-piston caliper on a 220 mm disc. The system is managed by a switchable ABS BOSCH MP9.1 system.
The pleasure of the Milano’s ride is also entrusted to its comfortable suspension. An upside-down 46 mm fully adjustable fork (preload, compression and rebound) and a single shock absorber adjustable in preload, rebound damping and wheelbase.
The fork rods may be covered with an optional DLC (Diamond Like carbon) treatment which increases its sliding capacity and hardness.
The 17” aluminum forged wheels come with Pirelli Angel GT tyres. Hence we can gaze along the entire motorcycle’s length and remain enchanted in front of the overlying aluminum dual exhaust terminal.
